I have spent a lot of time over the last few weeks and months reviewing my price structure, past sessions, client feedback and a multitude of other aspects. Answering questions like What do I want to provide, What can I provide, What do my clients want, What do I need to bring in.
I have nailed down the type of session and ultimately experience I want for my clients. I want my clients to feel beautiful, to be pampered. Have a day that’s just for them. Get their hair and make-up done. And most importantly, I don’t want them to feel beautiful for just one day, but see how truly beautiful they are every day.
From the very first boudoir session I photographed, it was like I could see this…transformation! She finally could see what her husband saw when he tells her how beautiful she is. Or perhaps it was the gorgeous client who came to see me after a nasty break-up. She didn’t need anyone telling her she was gorgeous, but some days, when it was harder to believe than others, she would have this amazing album to remind herself.
Anyway, all this rambling to explain a little bit behind why I’ve decided to change my packages and pricing, starting January 1, 2012. It is so,so, so important that you have the right look down for your session. All packages will now include hair and makeup (and false eyelashes). This aspect of the styling is just too important to be left out!
Occasionally (like maybe around holidays) I might offer packages without the hair and makeup, but, I’m haven’t decided yet!
Without further ado, here are the packages for 2012.

Holy Flip! Can you believe there are less than 130 days until Christmas? (i can’t). Well it’s true and I think we all know it will really be here before we know it.
Each year I get lots of inquiries about Christmas and Holiday Cards. Yes, I do offer them, and a large variety of different kinds and styles. The key thing for people to remember is to plan early.
Ideally, you’ll want to book your session in October or early November, as this will give you plenty of time time review your photographs, make your selections and then receive and address them.
Your session can be in the studio or on location or both.
If you’re wanting to do a Boudoir or PinUp Session and have your Little Black Book back to give to your someone special by Christmas, it’s important to remember, that in November and December, I am almost booked solid, and the last day you can schedule and have your Black Book back in time is December 13th, so book early!
Be the envy of all your friends and be the only one NOT running around crazy this holiday season! For more information you can email me: Courtney@LouisvilleBoudoir.com or call 812.987.6199

Ok, so you’re probably who The Boudoir Divas are and what it is they’ve agreed too!
Well, The Boudoir Divas is this super fun boudoir studio out of California that have paved the way for other boudoir photographers across the country. Not only are they successful photographers, but they offer some great resources for photographers and clients alike. They receive phone calls from women all over the country hoping for a referral to a boudoir photographer in their area.
In light of the numerous amounts of phone calls they were getting, they decided to compile a list and start a website with photographers they recommend all over the country. They’ve been accepting submissions for review and invitation since the beginning of the year. I am so pleased to announce that I was invited to be part of website!! So the Boudoir Divas agree that I’m lovely enough to be on list!

So, here’s a fun new feature I thought I’d start here on the Louisville Boudoir site. Anytime I come across a sexy lingerie site having a sale or a really unique new product, I’m gonna post a link and if I’ve had any experience (either personal or through a client) I’ll let you know! (also, I am NOT getting endorsed, promoted or in any way compensated by linking these companies).
Today’s big sale is from Yandy.com. They are having a big clearance sale, and in addition to bras and panties they also have fun costumes and seasonal lingerie. I’ve ordered several things from this website for myself and to have as extras in the studio, and have always been impressed. The shipping is fast, the prices are right (before the sale) and the sizes are true. And they have a pretty great plus size selection.
Happy shopping and let me know if you get any fun stuff!

I have stumbled upon such a fun website! The Boudoir Photography Network. It has a search tool where you can find a boudoir photographer near you, blog entries on tons of stuff boudoir related, tips on making your boudoir session fun and successful, and be the most gorgeous Louisville Boudoir Babe you can be!!
Cruise on over and take a look, and add it to your bookmarks!
(Boudoir Wednesday was on hiatus this week but will return next week!)

My wonderful client from yesterday is also a very talented writer. She writes for several websites and has a super entertaining family blog. When she contacted me to schedule her session, she mentioned that she wanted to write an article on her experience for Blogher.
In the article she talks about choosing her boudoir photographer, why she chose to do the session in the first place, how she felt during the session, and after. It was a great read and I encourage you to go take a peek!
How Posing For Sexy Photos Changed My Life

Back in February, Redbook Magazine ran an article written by a Mom who’d recently had a boudoir session. In the article, she talks about her reaction when finding out her sister posed for some, then the thought process she went through while deciding to sign up for a session herself.
In the article, she highlights exactly the reason I shoot boudoir photography. I want women to feel good about themselves. It’s a pretty amazing gift I’ve been blessed with, making women finally see just how beautiful and sexy they really are.
So follow this link, and take a read for yourself!
